Does my London Pass include transport to and from the airport?

You must collect the London Pass from central London. Transportation from London airports to central London will not be possible. However, if you choose the Travel card upgrade, once you have received your London Pass, you may use the Travel card to return to the airport on the normal services. Note: the only London airports accessible with the London Pass Travel card are Heathrow (all terminals) and London City Airport. London Pass Travel card will not be accepted on the Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express or Stansted Express.

Please Note: Adults will be issued a Visitor Oyster card. Each electronic Oyster Travelcard comes pre-loaded with a credit/value to match your London Pass duration. 1 day = £10, 2 days = £15, 3 days = £25 and 6 days = £40. This is calculated to be enough credit to cover the equivalent number of days of travel within central London.  If you travel further outside the central zones 1-3 you might have to top up the credit on your Oyster card.

Children under 11 years of age can travel for free on London Transport with an Adult holding a valid Oyster Card. Children between 11 – 15 with a 1, 2, 3 and 6-day London Pass will receive a Paper Travelcard, not an Oyster Card.

Can I see all the London Attractions in a single day?

Even for the travel enthusiast seeing all the 80 plus London attractions is not possible in a single day London Pass. In case you want to see the maximum number of attractions in a day, you will have to plan your travels and check for the routes via Google Maps from your hotel/accommodation location.

The Dome

St Paul’s Cathedral has one of the tallest domes in the world. It was also the tallest building in London from 1710 – 1967. The height of the dome is 111 metres (365 feet). It includes the interior Whispering Gallery and the external Stone and Golden Galleries.

As you walk through the cathedral, you will notice it is filled with natural light, glittering mosaics, and paintings adorning its dome interior. See the chapels on the ground floor, then, for those who are able, climb the 257 steps to the Whispering Gallery to test the unique acoustics. To complete your application on GOV.UK, you’ll need to pay for your visa, and for the healthcare surcharge, if applicable. Once you’ve paid your fees, you’ll be given a reference number that starts with GWF. Please make a note of this, as it will be helpful should you need to make any amendments to your visa application or appointment.

4. Book your appointment at – the Beijing Visa Application Centre

Once you’ve completed and paid for your visa application on GOV.UK, you’ll be directed to the VFS Global website to book an appointment at a Visa Application Centre, so your biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) can be captured. You’ll also have the opportunity to select additional, optional services from VFS Global, designed to make your application process faster, easier or simply more relaxed. 5. Upload your supporting documents – Submit your documents for free

You can submit all the documents required to support your application online, from the comfort of your home, school or office; meaning you can keep valuable documents with you. Read our guidelines for supporting documents. If you don’t have a scanner available or would just like some help with this, we can scan your documents at the Visa Application Centre with our Document Scanning Assistance option. In most cases, a fee applies for this service.

6. Visit the UK visa application centre in Beijing – Attend your appointment

You must attend the appointment for your visa application. You cannot send someone to your place. Please read our guidelines for attending the Visa Application Centre.

7. Track your application – Stay informed about the progress of your application

You’ll receive an email update when your decision has been returned to the Visa Application Centre. If you can’t access email easily or would like more detailed tracking information, you can also choose to get updates by SMS directly to your phone. You’ll have to check whether this service is available at the Visa Application Centre you are visiting. You’ll need to pay a fee for this service.

8. Collect your passport – Receive your passport from the Visa Application Centre

After a visa application decision has been made, you will be contacted by us when you can pick up your documents/ passport from the Visa Application Centre or have your documents returned to you by courier for an additional fee. Please do not attend the Visa Application Centre until you have been contacted to do so as you won’t be able to collect your passport until it is ready. Collecting your documents in person; bring the receipt issued by the Visa Application Centre and a form of Government identification. Please check with the Visa Application Centre at the time of appointment for the options available to collect your documents.

  •  The cruise will depart from Little Venice and end at Camden Lock
  •  A ratio of one adult for every child under the age of 4 is required due to regulations on the river. If this does not adhere you will not be able to board the boat.
  • Each boat is equipped with approximately five narrow, steep steps for boarding or disembarking, accompanied by handrails on both sides. For maximum safety, it is recommended to descend these steps backwards while facing away from the boat and holding onto the handrail. Wheelchairs must be folded before being brought on board and cannot be used in their unfolded state. It is not possible to transport passengers in wheelchairs down the steps. Additionally, mobility scooters are not permitted on the boats.
  • Well-behaved dogs on leads are allowed on board!
